2. Congratulations to our “Ahepa Milwaukee” Basketball Teams which participated in the 1st Annual Ahepa Marrow Basketball Tournament on March 12-15 in Chicago. Its motto was “A Tournament that Saves Lives”. This was the first time in many many years that our chapter has sent a basketball team to play in any tournament. We are dedicated to making this an annual event for both the Marrow and N.H.I.B.T. Events. It was exciting to have players come together from both our churches. Many thanks go out to our Chapter and its members for sponsoring the teams as well as Head coach Steve Itsines, Dr. Dean Copoulos, Nick Anton, etc. for pulling this together on such short notice. Many thanks as well go out to all of the players. They played their hearts out and it was a lot of fun to watch them compete.

3. The Basketball Teams will also be competing in the 79th Annual N.H.I.B.T. Tournament on March 27th, 28th, and 29th in Chicago at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL. Good Luck to Coach Steve Itsines and our players! Thanks again to the members who helped sponsor our teams. You know who you are! Please come and cheer them on! 4. Our Chapter will march in the Greek Independence Parade in Greektown on Sunday April 5th at 2:30pm. and have dinner afterwards in Greektown. Supreme Counselor Atty. John Galanis will be an honored guest at the parade. We have reserved a Lamer’s Coach Bus which will depart Sts. Constantine & Helen Church around 10:30 am and from Ahepa Lodge afterwards. President’s Corner

I would like to again thank all of my fellow brother Ahepans for your support of our Chapter, still the largest in District 13. It’s exciting to have restarted a long standing tradition of participation in the N.H.I.B.T Basketball Tournament and now the New Ahepa Marrow Tournament. It’s important to have our youth involved in our Chapter’s events. We would also like to organize some soccer teams to play in this fall’s Hellenic Tournament in Chicago.(more info to follow). Again, please support this year’s Scholarship Luncheon; it’s one of the best events of its kind in the nation. Finally, I would like to wish everyone and their families KALI ANASTASI and KALO PASXA!!

CHRIST IS RISEN! HAPPY EASTER!

Sincerely,
Timothy M. Stasinoulias, Chapter President
