ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!!

1. SPECIAL EVENT NOTICE! Wed. November 18, 2009 at AHEPA LODGE. Fellowship 6-7pm with refreshments. The program will start at 7pm. We are proud to have as our guest speaker Mr. Terry Poulos. Terry, a Chicago native and fellow AHEPAN will present his fascinating experience working for the National Football League’s officiating program as a Replay Video Operator. In his 11th season, Terry works games around the country every weekend during football season. Also, since 1995, he has served as sports editor, columnist, and feature writer for The Greek Star newspaper, America’s oldest at 105 years. He has also been on the committee for the annual N.H.I.B.T basketball tournament as well as the Supreme Ahepa Athletics Hall of Fame selection committee. This fall, he is set to unveil a new website, www.the sportsindex.com, the world’s first composite stock index of sports-related publicly traded firms. It will track more than 500 stocks in the areas of sports, games, entertainment, and education as well as offer commentary on the business of sports in general. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! FREE ADMISSION! 2. The Annual Daughters of Penelope Thanksgiving Dinner will be held Thursday November 12th, 6:30 pm at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. The delicious meal will be catered by brother Tim Triantafilliou, owner of Prime Minister. Raffle prizes. Adults $10 & Children under 10:$5 Please RSVP to Jeanne Krikelas at 414-464-9779. Also, tables for parties of 8-10 people may also be reserved. In the spirit of the holiday, we ask that you bring non-perishable food item(s) which will benefit The Hunger Task Force. This is a worthy and fun event. Please show your support.

3. Our 2ND Annual Chapter 43 Christmas Party & Toy Drive will be held Saturday December 5TH FROM 6:30 pm til ? at our AHEPA LODGE. We welcome all our brother Ahepans and Daughters of Penelope along with their spouses to this evening of fun and fellowship. A Delicious Greek Dinner with all the trimmings will be served courtesy of Ahepa 43. As for our Toy Drive: We kindly request that each Brother or Daughter attending bring an unwrapped toy(s). These toys will be given to both Sts. Constantine & Helen and Annunciation Churches so they be distributed to local children in need! Last year’s event was a great success and lots of fun! 4. We need everyone’s help in making sure all outstanding membership dues are brought current through 2009. Also, 2010 dues will also be accepted. Currently we are emailing our newsletter to those members who provided their email address. If you have email, please send us your address so we can add you to our list. Presidents Corner

Hope to see you at all three upcoming events starting with the Daughters of Penelope Thanksgiving Dinner on November 12. Also, our special event on November 18th with guest Terry Poulos is going to be great and is not to be missed. And of course our upcoming Christmas party. Also, starting with our meeting on November 4th , Ahepa Chapter 43 will be providing complimentary refreshments. I welcome all Brother Ahepans to join in. See you there!
