The Scholarship Luncheon is upon us!

The 51st Annual Ahepa Scholarships awards luncheon will be held on Sunday May 2, 2010 at the Wisconsin Club. Reception at 12:30 pm. Luncheon at 1:30pm. $35.00 per person/$20.00 per student. This year’s event promises to be our best ever!

We are honored to have as our guest speaker the AHEPA Supreme Governor Mr. Tom Gober!We also are honored to have our District 13 Governor Lou Atsaves join us as well!

Saturday May 1, 2010! You are cordially invited to attend the Tri State AHEPA BANQUET to held at the Westin O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL. $100 per person. Reception at 6:00 pm with Dinner at 7:00 pm. 1. AHEPA DAY is Sunday May 16, 2010 at Annunciation. This annual memorial service is in remembrance of our dearly departed Brother Ahepans and Daughters of Penelope. Please join us to honor them and represent Ahepa 43.

2. JUNE 4,5, & 6, 2010 : Joint Ahepa District 12 & 13 Convention at SS. Contantine & Helen Hellenic Cultural Center in Merrillville, Indiana. Contact Tim Stasinoulias at 262.442.0422 if you’d to attend as a delegate.

3. CONGRATS TO Steve Itsines and Steve Haidemenos on winning their respective categories in the AHEPA National Golf Tournament.

4. The 88th AHEPA FAMILY SUPREME CONVENTION will take place in Montreal, Canada July 11-18. Contact Secretary Dan Dupies if you are interested in attending as a delegate.

5. The Greek Independence Day Celebration was a huge success last Sunday in Chicago’s Greektown regardless of the inclement spring weather. Elias & Jeanne Krikelas, Dan Dupies, Tom and Sandy Draelos, the George Konstantakis family, the Leon Athens family, the Tim Stasinoulias Family, plus others walked in the parade followed by dinner at Santorini!(To the Victors go the spoils!) ZHTO HELLAS!!

6. We are currently accepting 2010 dues. We need and value your support! Please contact Dan Dupies or Treasurer Bill Spheeris if you’re not sure if you’re current.

7. Our 6th Annual “OPA” Greek Festival will be held July 23-25!!!
We need everyone’s help. Please volunteer.
