CHAPTER 43 NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) Our Chapter Christmas Party and 3rd Annual Toy Drive
was another huge success and a lot of fun! We delivered the donated toys to the parishes of Sts. Constantine & Helen and The Annunciation for their distribution to
under privileged children in their communities. A big thanks to everyone who participated as well as to Brother Tim Triantafillou for yet another delicious spread of food.

2) Thanks to Distict 13 Governor Angelo Versis and LT.
Governor Nick Lamnatos for their visit, inspiring words, and participation in our Christmas Party and Toy Drive. We were honored to have them to join us.

3) The AHEPA NATIONAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT
is back in Milwaukee and will be held Saturday April 9 & Sunday April 10, 2011 at AMF Bowlero Lanes on 117th
and Burleigh (11737 W. Burleigh Ave.) If your interested in forming a team and for more information please contact the event co-chair Brother Bobby Zaharis at 1-414-788-2041. (Players must be current members of AHEPA 43 with their dues paid)

4) IMPORTANT! We have enclosed statements for
those Brother AHEPANS still owing 2010 dues. Please kindly remit in the enclosed envelope asap.
Also, we are now accepting 2011 membership DUES.

5) The District 13 Mid Year Conference will be held Saturday January 29, 2011 at 9am at the Four Points Sheraton in Shiller Park, IL. Please contact Tim Stasinoulias if you would like to attend.

6) The 52nd Annual Milwaukee AHEPA Scholarship season
is underway. Applications are available at the offices of both Annunciation and Sts. Constantine & Helen Churches as well as many area high schools. Please see church bulletins for more info or call Chairman Paul Topitzes at 414-791-7439. Don’t miss the deadline to submit!!

7) The 3rd Annual AHEPA MARROW BASKETBALL
TOURNAMENT will be held in Chicago March 9-13, 2011!
We hope to field both boys and mens teams again this year. Membership in the Sons of Pericles for the boys(ages 14-17) is encouraged and is currently FREE!
Also, membership for the young men’s team (ages 18-27) is only $40.00 and gets you both a Sons of Pericles Membership as well as a AHEPA membership. If you’re interested please contact Tim Stasinoulias at 262.442.0422.
