CHAPTER 43 NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. The 7th Annual OPA Greek Festival was held on August 19,20,21
and was a great success! We are grateful for the beautiful summer weather and an incredible group of volunteers! Also, we like to thank President Andrea Diaz and the Daughters of Penelope for their participation once again! They did an awesome job with our Raffle and their YiaYia's Pastries were delicious and very popular.

2. A BIG REASON for the success of this festival were the many sponsors who supported our festival and it's mission. These businesses and individuals/families generously made monetary and product donations that helped offset the costs of putting this festival on! We want to thank them very much! Please see the listing of our 2011 Festival sponsors printed on the back of this newsletter and keep it as a reference in the event you may need their products and services! Support those who support us!!! Also, The September issue of “Boomers” will also have an AD thanking our sponsors.

3. We would also like to thank Father Ted Trifon of Sts. Constantine & Helen and Father Jim Dokos of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Churches for their support of our festival!
